After two years of postponements due to COVID, Rammstein was finally set to play at the
San Antonio Alamodome so Leila and I flew out to see the show. Afterwards we drove our rental car across West Texas
and up into New Mexico. Our first stop in New Mexico was Carlsbad to check out the giant caverns and from there it was
through the famous UFO town of Roswell to our ultimate destination of Santa Fe. We flew back home from Albuquerue.
On our way to Santa Fe we stopped in Carlsbad to check out the caverns. We took a path that descends over 700 feet into the
ground. At the bottom of the cave we found a restroom and a small snack shop, and of course an elevator to take us back to the surface.
We hiked up switch backs and found water (elaborate later)
